The Home of Turtle Racing!
Yep, you read that right. Turtle racing has been a tradition at Brennan's for 40 years and let us be honest... it's pretty amazing. The Turtle races are scheduled every Thursday evening and they start shortly after 10 pm. Guests of our Venice Beach inn can grab a drink, enjoy the live music, and we will see you in the AM.

Hinano Café

15 Washington Blvd
Venice, CA 90292
(310) 822-3902
Don't judge a book by its cover, especially at Hinano Cafe. It might look a little run down on the outside, but the inside holds icy cold brews, pool tables (because we know you need a rematch from earlier), live music, and the best $6 burgers in Venice Beach! This laid-back, beachy dive bar was known to be a local favorite to Jim Morrison, so that tells you how long it has been around. A couple things you need to know: beer & wine only, Cash only. (Pro Tip #2: they have an ATM inside.)

The Venice Whaler / Crab Shell Bar

10 Washington Blvd
Venice, CA 90292
(310) 821-8737
Wake up and head to our BYOB bar for some Bloody Mary action to cure that hangover. Out of booze? No worries, the liquor store is just a few feet down the road. Throw a few back, get your crew together, and head to The Venice Whaler for some seriously awesome day drinking. This dive bar at heart is a one-stop-shop for cheap beers, a killer happy hour, live music, and long nights that turn into early mornings.
